Àccura Bruc in Eixample (Barcelona)

Àccura Bruc is an elegant Eixample club with careful design and lighting, a free-weights area with mirrors, a swimming pool, one of the best sauna and hammam areas in the city according to members, and a towel and soap service. Many regulars appreciate that it is rarely crowded, that everything is clean and well organised and that instructors and personal trainers are friendly and professional. The recurring complaint is the air conditioning: in summer members constantly have to ask for it, and several say the heat is unbearable for a club charging around 85 euros a month. Others regret that facilities close 30 minutes before the posted time, that weekend hours end at midday and that there is only one StairMaster. A premium neighbourhood club with excellent water areas, let down by climate control in summer.
