Basic-Fit Barcelona Vallcarca in Gràcia (Barcelona)

Basic-Fit Vallcarca is often described by members as one of the best clubs in the chain: spacious, bright, with windows and a layout that never feels claustrophobic. It has a lot of machines in good condition, enough benches for a low-cost gym and a sled that attracts people preparing for Hyrox. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially when signing up or getting started. The usual low-cost trade-offs appear in the criticism. Weekday evenings between 6 and 9 pm can be very busy, small plates go missing, the hydration machine sometimes breaks down, and the cheapest plan does not include water. One member also regrets that nobody answers the phone late at night. For the price, it is hard to ask for more: a clean, well-equipped gym that is best enjoyed outside the evening peak.
