Claror Can Caralleu in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi (Barcelona)

Claror Can Caralleu is a municipal sports club surrounded by nature at the foot of Collserola, ideal for those who like to combine the gym with running in the hills. Members highlight its impeccable pools, including a fantastic outdoor pool in summer, its tennis and multi-sport facilities and a welcoming atmosphere where newcomers quickly feel part of the community. Families also appreciate the summer camps. The drawbacks are mostly about capacity and service. Some members feel the club has more members than space: guided classes are hard to get if you decide on the same day, the gym is small for the demand and the outdoor pool requires booking. Changing rooms and lockers are described as small, the phone line is handled by a robot, and a few people criticise the price and the attitude of some staff. A beautiful, complete leisure club, better suited to recreational sport than to intensive gym training.
