Club Deportivo Mediterráneo - Regent Mendieta in Les Corts (Barcelona)

Club Deportivo Mediterráneo Regent Mendieta is a long-standing neighbourhood club in Les Corts with a pool, a fitness room and guided activities. Members praise the well-organised classes and motivating instructors, especially zumba and cycling, the excellent baby swimming courses and a renovated centre with spaces that are well used, plus access in summer to the club's Josep Vallès facilities. Recent reviews, however, are largely critical. Members describe a small, crowded fitness room with machines that often break down, neglected changing rooms with a persistent bad smell despite renovations, an old pool with cold water and a pool frequently occupied by school classes, courses and water polo. Others complain about conditions omitted at registration and no refund, unanswered emails, the removal of a fee reduction for long-standing members and an unpleasant atmosphere around shared equipment, all for around 55 euros a month. A club with good classes and courses, but the gym and management need improvement.
