Lapso Studios in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi (Barcelona)

Lapso Studios, in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, is a boutique studio offering cycling, barre and functional training classes in 45-minute sessions. Many members love the classes themselves: the lights, the music, the structure and the energy created by coaches are described as top level, with several instructors named for their motivation and personality, and some call it the best barre studio in Barcelona. The rest of the experience has, however, deteriorated sharply according to recent reviews. Members describe neglected installations with damp, hair-covered changing rooms, piles of used towels and broken or damaged bikes, a spinning room without fans in summer and items disappearing from the facilities. Customer service is the main complaint: unfriendly front desk staff, especially towards ClassPass and Urban Sports users, unanswered emails, classes cancelled at the last minute without refund and a membership freeze ignored after an injury. Great classes held back by poor maintenance and customer service.
