Synergym Barcelona Plaza Cosmos in Horta-Guinardó (Barcelona)

Synergym Plaza Cosmos is a popular neighbourhood gym in Horta-Guinardó with a mixed-age crowd and a good atmosphere. Members like the variety of machines, recently expanded with new equipment that has reduced waiting times, and they speak highly of the instructors and the reception team, who make the sign-up easy. Group classes such as Rumble are fun and well led. The main issue is capacity: several reviews say there are more members than the space can handle, so the weights room is often full and you can spend more time waiting than training. Changing rooms are considered basic, with only a few showers for a full class, early-morning classes were cut, and one member reports the club opening half an hour late on a Saturday. Good value for money and a pleasant place to train if you can avoid the busiest hours.
