DUIN CEM Cotxeres in Nou Barris (Barcelona)

DUIN CEM Cotxeres, in Nou Barris, is a municipal sports centre with a pool and a large, recently improved fitness room. Members highlight the wide variety of strength and cardio machines, updated facilities that are kept clean and, above all, floor instructors who take the time to explain exercises and even design routines adapted to injuries. Several staff members are thanked by name for their patience. The main drawback is crowding: in the afternoon the room can be so full that following a machine routine becomes difficult, and some members feel the centre sells more memberships than it can hold. Other remarks concern broken benches in the changing rooms, holiday opening hours and a cold welcome at reception for one visitor asking about the pool. A complete and well-equipped municipal gym with excellent floor staff, best visited outside the evening peak.
